He's probably about to fire the guy on the field. Punt team just screwed up a great punt with an illegal formation penalty. Cost them about 30 yards of field position.

Fickel screwed up beyond all that is holy when, a few years back, brought in OC I’ll Phil Longo with his up tempo air raid style offense. He we all in on the recruiting trail to bring in that type player. Then ended up canning Longo and hiring Jeff Grimes..an offensive style that doesn’t his talent.

Edit: Alabama “expressed interest” but Klein turned down the opportunity.

Maybe. They, just like all the top teams, have had their struggles at times. But this may be as good as they've been set up since maybe the RC Slocum hey days of 1992-1994.
