I foresee a full day of sitting in my recliner and being useless. If I only had a built-in re-fridge in my chair like George Canstanza :biggrin:CBS triple header!
That's going to be a long day of waiting. I was hoping for the 2:30 afternoon slot. Lots more drunk Cajuns by 7:00.
If I was to guess the Alabama- Miss St game would be at 4 or 7 because CBS is more than likely taking the UGA-Auburn game.dammit. I was hoping for a 7 pm et start. i am on a flight that leaves at 10:25pm that night. hopefully it will be like the rest of our games and we are taking the air out of the ball early/mid 3rd quarter.
hopefully the bama/miss state game will be the late espn game as i return to atlanta 8pm the next saturday
that's what i am hoping. If I was to guess the Alabama- Miss St game would be at 4 or 7 because CBS is more than likely taking the UGA-Auburn game.
Where do you see a third game on CBS?CBS triple header!

It’s a double header. CBS is trying to decide between UGA and UF for their 2:30 game and give the other to ESPN. Basically who wins this week plays after lunch and the loser plays after breakfast. If it's a CBS triple-header, I'd guess that the Alabama-LSU won't kickoff until closer to 8PM.
How else could they do it? CBS has obviously exercised a 6-day option on their 3:30 game for this week. ESPN is obviously willing to take the other game for their 4:00 time slot. I would rather have this info than none at all.TBH, I wish the SEC and TV companies could figure out a better way to release the times if they are waiting to see how the next week's games go before deciding on some game times.

Last years ratings weren't so good.No surprise. It's been played in prime time since 2011. CBS always get huge ratings for the game.
I went back and looked...I guess ESPN will take third game early after CBS makes a decision on the 2:30/3:00 slot. I didn't see the ESPN on it and thought CBS was going to do an 11, 3 and 7 game. My bad. Doesn't change that Bama still will be late.Where do you see a third game on CBS?
The SEC worst beats anybody else's best.None of the games besides ours, is worthy of the 2:30 pm time slot. CBS is just being greedy.
I'm thinking last season was just an anomaly and not a trend. I think the ratings bounce back this season. Both teams highly ranked and also we got the "Tua Factor" which should attract the attention of quite a few Non-SEC fans.Last years ratings weren't so good.
"Saturday’s LSU-Alabama college football game scored a 3.7 overnight rating on CBS, down 38% from last year (6.0), down 41% from 2015 (6.3), and the lowest for the rivalry since at least 2006 — the last year it was televised by ESPN…The 3.7 is also the lowest for a primetime SEC game on CBS since at least 2006."
