I will be turning the radio off when he comes on this week. I am sure you are right, he will be trolling the fans.Gary Danielson is trolling Bama fans, very hard. Don't fall for his you know what.

One point he makes in particular is that LSU has to play one extra game - the SECCG. I actually think playing in that game is a privilege bestowed upon them due to their record. Clearly, if they did not want to play in that game, all they have to do is to announce that they don't want to play in that game or receive the SEC Champion title and trophy that they would receive if they were to win it. Bama will gladly play in that game against UGA in that game.
I guess Danielson doesn't seem to grasp the importance of that game, and of winning it, to any SEC team. We all know of course that there is no way that LSU would take that option.
Not so fast my friend. First, the BCS Championship Game is set up to pit the #1 team v. the #2 team. Right? Who is the second best team if not Bama? Second, where is the rule that states a team should not have to play a team that they have already beaten? It happens in high school playoffs, it happens in the NFL, it happens in the NCAA basketball tournament so why not in NCAA football? Third, did you watch the same LSU/Alabama game that I did? Alabama punted only twice, missed 6 field goals, and only lost by 3 points in OT. It was not clear to me that LSU was the best team. If LSU is so superior than Bama, then let them prove it in the NC game.I agree with him. There's no way a team should have to pass their hardest test of the year twice. Yes we're the number two team in the nation, but LSU already beat us. We had our chance and came up short. Why should LSU have to prove that they're better than us a second time? If we beat LSU, unless it's going away (which it won't be), the only thing it will prove is that we're pretty even as teams. I got a feeling that debate won't be necessary though. I think LSU is legitimately the best team out there.
Lets call the BCS what it really is, a 2 team tournament. If they go to the plus one it will be a 4 team tournament. In tournaments rematches happen all the time. Bama got left out of the NCAA basketball tournament last season and was the SEC West champions, whats fair with that? Its the system we have and we should not have to apologize for Bama making the final 2 in football this year. You are entitled to your opinion of course but so are we and I want to see for myself if LSU is really legitimately better than Bama and the only way to know that is for a rematch.I agree with him. Cant...tell....if...serious...I agree with him. There's no way a team should have to pass their hardest test of the year twice. Yes we're the number two team in the nation, but LSU already beat us. Bama will make it into the BCSCG precisely because every game counts. Every game that OSU, OU, Stanford, Oregon, Boise, VaTech, et al., lost ultimately matters. Not so fast my friend. The real problem you have is that you have believed the lie that in the BCS every game counts, but that is simply not true, as is being demonstrated once again by Bama making it to the championship game. It has also been demonstrated in the past like the year LSU lost 2 games and still made it to the NC game and won. You see every game does not count even for the winner of the NC game.
The 2007 New England Patriots did....and lost the second time around. No one disputes that the Giants are the 2007 NFL Champions.I agree with him. Agreed...he apparently doesn't understand what "every game counts" means.Bama will make it into the BCSCG precisely because every game counts. Every game that OSU, OU, Stanford, Oregon, Boise, VaTech, et al., lost ultimately matters.

How about the LSU/Bama game? If the game was never played we would still have LSU #1 and Alabama #2. Also even if LSU loses to UGA they will be in the NC game. How does the SECCG count in regard to reaching the BCS NC. It is a part of "EVERY GAME", right?Bama will make it into the BCSCG precisely because every game counts.
