HAHA..Dude needs a Xanax or something to relax, I can get emotional when it comes to Crimson Tide Football, but, I've never broke down & cried..Even during the Shula, Coach Fran & the Price Era's of football at Bama..I'm embarrassed for him..

Y'all remember the frat boy with the blonde girlfriend crying that CBS showed during the last LSU loss? (He resembled CW Moss from the old movie "Bonnie and Clyde").

Seemed to me that the guys on that radio show were jerks. They made fun of him for breaking down after a huge loss. I don't know how sports radio works down there, but a sports radio host in Columbus taking calls on a Saturday night during football season is going to be a Buckeye, and he is going to be feeling the same emotions as his callers, good or bad. These guys seemed completely disconnected from that game or those emotions.

Consider how close GA has been the last 2 years. They have been inching closer and closer, and to have those dreams crushed in the first game of the season had to be tough. Add alcohol and a late night and this guys seemed relatively composed to me. I have no problem with fans or players crying after big wins or losses.

Dude is tore up! It's game 1 and they're already calling for Richt's head.
Take away Hershel Walker & Jawga is Kentucky. Without basketball I will add.

This is what I've always maintained about Georgia fans. For some reason, they believe their Dawgs should win it all every year. When they don't there is no more of an irrational fan-base anywhere (Auburn gives them a run for their money but I think UGA fans are slightly worse in this regard).

Not to get too religious but for this man crying over this game, watching football is sin to him. He needs to find another pastime. Obviously, he must put this game and/or UGA football above his family and kids. If I ever do this over Alabama football even as much as I enjoy it, please someone take the car, TV and radio away.

92.9 is a new sports station there. None of the many radio hosts there are from Atlanta and most are not even from the South. 680 the fan is much better -- at least Buck Belue would have been a little more compassionate but even he would have told the guy to get a grip.

Somehow jawja fans will blame Richt for Mitchell's injury. Looking forward to silently mocking them at work on Tuesday.

It's a "game"! Family I cry about (at least the close ones). I do remember crying about my prized Redbone Coonhound dying, but I was 9. A game, even when I played and coach, no. I remember in HS our team captain sitting on the end of the bench bawling after Little Rock Mills kicked a 43 yd. FG to beat us. I'm thinking "Dude get a grip! If you would made more than 1 tackle all night we probably wouldn't have been in that situation! Pathetic.

As I was sitting in the Georgia Dome watching Bama play Va Tech on Saturday, the grumbling, complaining, cursing, and overall bad mouthing of our team was irritating. The only thing missing was the crying and I think a few of our fans were on the verge of that and we were winning with no chance of losing the game.

Some people need to learn to accept their lot in life. Georgia fans never have.

Having said that, I fully expect them to beat South Carolina this weekend. Losing game one on the road in dramatic fashion to a top 10 team isn't a horrible thing and does not knock them out of the SEC race or NC race.
