With the job basically being handed to him, from a selfish standpoint, I think it's looking like a great move for him, all things considered.

They need to back off my boy! They play so bad my slow tail could beat them up, and I so will.

His name will definitely be on their short list of candidates. Success breeds this. We've had the fortune of having continuity at the top of our coaching Peking order for every year since Coach Saban's 2nd year here. Unfortunately for us and perhaps fortunately for them, I don't expect Coach Smart or Coach McElwain to be around for much longer.

They are a little on the favored busters so I expect the pollsters to put them at number 1 now.

Secondly, with this win Boise State is going to improve to 9-1 since 2006 vs. teams currently in AQ conferences. So you know...say what you will about them playing in a weak conference, which they do, but either way you slice it, that's strong.

Yep, you can count me among the ones that think Richt is gone after this year. He's the reason there's zero fire in the eyes of his team. They're getting their butts pushed all over the field and they just made one tackle inside their own ten yard line and the LB comes out beating his chest and playing to the crowd. I'd have put his butt on the bench and put in someone that's playing for the team and not himself. I find their lack of discipline and passion is downright pitiful and Richt's fault.
That being said, I do hope he stays. Saban's picking recruits out of his back yard since he's been here and I can live with that.

I don't think anyone is saying that they aren't a good team. They're obviously a good team. They might even be a great team. However, they haven't proven anything.

1) In one game, on a nuetral field, with time to prepare they can play with, if not beat, just about any team in the country.
- Big deal. So can half of the SEC.

2) Over the past few years they've won almost all of their games, including a handful of them against BCS teams.
- Again, big deal. With that schedule, half of the SEC could win that many games.
