I do not know anything about this guy, but it seems he is married to an American woman and they decided to live in the US, not Germany.
He arrived with the stereotypes, and explains why they are wrong.

I have spent some time in Germany, and work with Germans. I really like Germany and admire my German colleagues. I think this guy is onto something.

German Living in America Explains Why He War Wrong?​

He said he had several stereotypes about life in America, but after living here a lot, he realizes they were either incorrect or exaggerations.
All Americans live an unhealthy lifestyle.
You cannot anywhere walk in America.


I have never lived in Germany, but I have spent a decent amount of time in Germany.
What I like about Germany:
1. Things function. If the tram is supposed to get to the tram stop at 0811, by golly, it gets that at 0811 because it is supposed to. Nobody throws trash on the ground because you are not supposed to.
2. Germans are very polite.
3. Not much graffiti. (In Spain, the graffiti is atrociously ugly and it's everywhere.)
4. The autobahns.
5. Germans are some hard-working muldoons.

Things about Germany I am not crazy about.
1. The German government looks at the population as its modeling clay, to be molded as the government wishes.
2. The mania for order means that they foreclose opportunities for those who do not fit the model. Kids take an aptitude test. Do well, you are on the path to becoming a doctor. Do poorly, you are on the path to becoming a bus driver. You're a late bloomer? Tough.
3. Germans do not question their government enough (in my view as a foreigner). If the government puts out a stupid rule, they follow it. They enshrined speech codes (to prevent a recurrence of Nazism), now, if you call a government minister an idiot or call a fat woman fat, you get arrested.
4. The German Green Party wanted all of Germany's accident-free, zero-carbon-emission nuclear power plants closed, so Germany closed them. Then the war in Ukraine came. Now they are burning filthy high-carbon coal to make up the deficit. Way to go Green Party!
5. They opened up the floodgates to Europe for uncontrolled migration and every other country in Europe has to suffer for Germany's bad decision. Indeed, the Germans are a bit smug about that.

Overall, however, I see a well-ordered society that makes life pretty decent for folks who live here and I wish them well.
