to be sure, I'll still be happy / excited when they win and disappointed when they lose, but at this point, I've become a realist about this season and want to see significant changes within the team and throughout the organization between now and March 2026. Braves have more money than they ever have. Time to use it wisely.

This team has given up, I think. Not sure they care. They DEFINITELY do not have an identifiable leader in the clubhouse. Should be Olson or Riley. But they're not doing anything to lead that I can see. The hitting is atrocious, and the pitching (particularly bullpen) is terrible due to many injuries and no significant moves have been made over the last year.

They will limp through the back half, trade or release Ozuna and possibly Harris and/or Albies and restructure for 2026 around Olson, Riley, and the core pitchers.

Anthopoulos should begin feeling the heat if he isn't already. He signed a lot of these guys to long term contracts and as soon as he did, they tanked.

I think Snit is gone after this season. Just a hunch. He's not been able to do anything to put the team in a position to maximize whatever it has. Getting blown out 3x at home over the last week is unacceptable. Rangers are coming in tomorrow battling for a wild card spot. Expect more of the same.
I’ve mentioned before, I have on pretty good authority that he is stepping down at the end of the season. We will see.
