Had to remind myself to stay out of it.
People have become incredibly selfish during this time. I understand having multiple concerns and trying to reach a balance between those concerns. What I don't get is callously and recklessly ignoring scientific advice to protect yourself and others during a deadly and debilitating pandemic.

These people were already incredibly selfish it was just much harder to see
yup, people just learned how to hide it and this brought it to the surface

In American history only two other wars had more casualties - WWII (291,557) and the Civil War (620,000). 675,000 Americans died from the 1918 flu pandemic. If no vaccine comes quickly and if people continue being reckless with their own lives and the lives of others we may very well exceed all of those tragic numbers before all is said and done.
