Great article on Ray Hudson (link)

I'd love to see him make us forget about Darby and Castille, but these two guys are dang good. He's gonna have to step it up or these guys will take that position right out from under him. As for his arrest, I was one of the one's who thought, if he had the drugs on him, he should have been kicked off the team. We're not UT or FSU. We had a bad enough image. However, CMS didn't do that, and I respect and support his decision. If Ray get's in trouble again, for the same stupid stuff, he should be let go, not questions asked (if he is guilty). Best of luck to Ray this year. I've always liked his versatility in the backfield. He can catch, run and block very well for a small guy. Now, he's packing on some pounds and, if he keeps the speed up, maybe we'll get to see him stick his helmet in someone's chest and run them over like Darby and Castille did last year. Go get em Ray!!!

That's great stuff to hear from Ray.

I guess the part that bothers me is him saying that he would never be in the wrong place at the wrong time. . .well???

I find it encouraging that he is still hungry for the position and with his honesty in talking about some players being lazy in the past, including him, that are now stepping it up.

I have always thought he was lazy and not really giving 100% on the field. I hope my opinion can change about Ray this year.

I saw where he was quoted as saying that he reads what fans are saying and some them don't even know what they are talking about. I wonder if he has been on here?

AWESOME!!!!

i can't wait to see Ray Ray lighting up the field on game day. i hope he keeps that rage firmly in hand. he will need it if BAMA is to beat a good Ole Miss team in early September.

i never doubted you Ray, and i'm glad you didn't get kicked off the team for a little wacky-tobacky.

Lets say Ray-Ray runs for 1500 yards (not impossible by any means 8 players ran for over 1500yds last year) the team goes 10-1 losing to SEC Champion LSU (not impossible either) well that formula looks like 1500yds + 10-1 record = Heisman Winner.

I believe RH tested clean and it was later found out the mj actually was his girl friends room mates.....JMO,but if he was not using drugs and was set up by a vindictive female...I have no problem with CMS decision and feel he made the right one!

Ray Hudson is the man! I like both Darby and Castille alot, but that is why I am intrigued with Hudson --- the coaches see them everyday, and they named him the starter. I hope he gets his 1500 yards, plus some!

I've been on the Ray train since Myree proved himself all thumbs. Fantastic breakaway speed and vision. It can't hurt that he's bulked up and gotten fired up about his rep. Look for big numbers.

“You can tell the difference in the atmosphere in the weight room,” Hudson noted. “Now we know we can go to a bowl game and we have something to play for. We’re not looking at an average bowl, we want to go to a BCS bowl.

I love Alabama ...

Now this is the Ray I tried to tell you all about way back when!!! To Ray: I always knew you had it in ya. Thanks for finally allowing everyone to see your maturity. Keep shining and never let that genuine glow about you fade. We're ready to see what you got in this upcoming WINNING season!!!

Where's RollTideRandy post? (I think that's his name)

Wasn't he a big, no hugh, Ray Hudson fan?

Anyway, I'm expecting big thing out of Ray this year. Hope that this year is his year to shine.
