Great game by both teams

Wanna say good game by Bama...specifically Ingram.

Obviously, I've got my complaints about the striped ones...and wish we hadn't had so many guys go down.

Peterson picked that one...with BOTH feet in. I'm sure Les will have a fine coming his way this week.

I think this game answered some questions for LSU fans. Particularly, why Jordan Jefferson is QB instead of Lee. (yes, believe it or not, some were in Lee's camp :p_eyes:)

Not the crushing you expected though, GCTider. :p_lol: Good game, as expected.

I have my doubts about that call too. Oops, will the SEC be fining me 30K?

Regardless, LSU didn't make the plays they needed to to pull off the win.

Like I said to you earlier this week: the refs are conspiring for us. :D I thought Peterson was out. I am not biased in any way. Great game by both teams.

Refs missed things on both sides, and they were pretty hands-off the whole game. I thought it was an INT too. But on the other side, there's no safety if the refs correctly spotted the ball at the 5, where it hit an LSU player's foot, rather than the .001 yard line. It evens out.

If I were you, I'd be more upset with Miles going for 2 early on, and at your S&C staff.

Good game for sure. That interception could have gone either way, been watching it on replay a bunch and just too close and not enough to override the call in my opinion, I'm biased obviously. I will say that your offense has certainly improved even though Scott got hurt and left the game. You got a great team and if you continue winning, I expect to see you in the Cotton Bowl or Capital One Bowl. Good luck.

Almost forgot about that. The officiating was pretty hands off. I prefer that and not just because we won.

It doesn't really matter if it was a interseption or not because Smelly caught that first pass and who knows what we would have done after that.

Thanks, it was a great game and went pretty much as expected.
While the almost interception was close, you guys had some go your way as well. The safety in the ez was one. A massive hold/block in the back on one of our lineman on your scoring drive as another.
I thought the refs pretty much let both sides play. Most of the penalties on both sides came on offensive gaffes it seemed to me.

Good luck the rest of the way. Glad this one is over.:BigA:

Great game by both teams.

- I think Paterson had the pick.
- No way the hit on Fitzgerald was a mild "running into the kicker". Not when he's spun around by his extended leg. He was roughed.

Doesn't matter now.

Hope none of the LSU players' injuries were serious.

LSU has to be the best two-loss team in America. Would any top-ten team - including Florida or Bama - want to play 'em again? Nah.

I hate it, but a lot of people are going to say that we got some home cooking tonight. If they look at the stats, they will see why we won, but the officials did help us out a bit...

Good luck the rest of the way, FH. I'll just note that LSU had some really great no-calls go their way, also. On the non-INT, the replay guys have a couple of camera angles available to them which the broadcast guys don't. I suspect it showed that PP's right foot was partially outside the FOP. Anyway, doesn't matter and I don't think it decided the game by any means. The stats will tell the story...

Tough game. LSU gave Alabama all they wanted. Never seen so many injuries, although they seemed mostly to be cramps. Good luck the rest of the way.
