Miami = Very concerning

Judging by the first few weeks this season, VT will have to play their very best "A" game to prevent Miami from stealing a win. It's good for the ACC that they're on their way back up, but I didn't think they would be this good so quickly.
I'll be there with bells on. And by bells, I mean Alabama attire. Should be interesting.

Lane Stadium. Gotta' go with VT. I agree with those who write that TT must have at least moderate success throwing the ball. Enough to keep NE from putting up an 8-man front. TT must also be more willing to hoof it out than he was against Bama.

Hopefully VT won't be looking ahead to Miami.

Several statement-games for VT in September.

Bo Pelini is one of the best in the country at motivating his players. This game could turn into a slobber knocker.

But VT has a winning streak of like 798 games against non-conference opponents in Blacksburg.

I think the game will be very close, but I think VT's talent level, coaching experience and that home field love will win it.

I've always had a lot of respect for NU and their fans, same as I have for VT.
Don't know much about NU except they've been down for a long time. But I have learned enough about VT to know they are tough. Gonna go with VT 31-17

i will be pulling for the hokies, and hopefully, playing at home will be the difference. as many have stated. your qb is the key. he will need to keep the huskers honest with some timely passing. i know your guys will play a great game with coach beamer in control.

VT 27 Nebraska 21 is my prediction. Expect Nebraska to paly 4 quarters and be good defensively. I expect VT to be more productive offensively but there will be some turnovers.

Like others have said. It really depends on your QB. VT has the advantage in every other phase of the game. Good Luck!

I'll take VaTech's D and their running game in this one. Most of all, though, I think that the experience of being battle-tested already (Bama game) gives Tech a huge advantage over Nebraska in this early season matchup. Tech will be ready for this one.

Gotta go with VT in Lane Stadium. I have not been sold on the Huskers yet. Tyrod will find his game Saturday. VT by 13--- Miami might be a different story. VT vs Miami will be a very interesting matchup.
