Grubb to be next OC at Bama per ESPN

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

I honestly think folks are trying…this was just a really weird one that we had to eat for two years…like villains on TV…people watch.
I think people are just trying to show that we weren't as bad as we looked sometimes. We were just one position away from being very good the past two years.

Some of us see that a new post has been added. We go to the trouble to see if there is some new and substantial information, yet we get the same stuff repeated over and over again.
In that case I apologize. I never looked at it from the perspective of how difficult, troublesome, and courageous it is to log on, click on a link, scroll down, and then have to actually read the text.

There is a Milroe thread already open. Please use it while you can because as I posted this week we will eventually close it along with the topic of Jalen Milroe as it pertains to content on this particular board. You will be more than welcome to go to the pro sports board and start a Milroe thread. Let's get the thread back on track about Grubb and his involvement in the 2025 offense that will not have Jalen Milroe a part of it. Thanks! (y)

Interesting - CKD must think Sheridan knows what he's doing with QBs despite what was happening on the field in 24.

Sheridan was pretty well liked by the players From what I've heard. Im fine with him as a coach, may just be best not calling plays, and can handle some of the recruiting end while grubb focuses on game planing

When we move on from “DeBoer and Sheridan were the wrong hires and 24 proves it” line of thinking I think we will probably see less and less of Milroe threads. Because the obvious rebuttal to it is “Milroe was an ineffective quarterback for that system”. That’s why it keeps coming up on threads about the coordinator, and I think most here want to move on from it but some want to put so much blame on a coordinator or a HC for not being able to go undefeated or make the playoffs with a flawed team.

I just want to wake up and find out 2024 was a bad dream.
I get it. I truly do because I felt such a great frustration for 2 years in a row not knowing what would happen from week to week.

But, there's the other side of it that acknowledges that noone/team can stay at the top all the time. So, with a couple years of being "down" we'll enjoy the rise to the top more as we start seeing it happen.

Ineffective quarterback, we get. Organized crime boss accused of extorting the university? Enough.
