Grumpy Old Men

Yet Milroe said “give me the heisman” (paraphrasing Because of rules) after the iron bowl, threw his former OC under the bus during a press conference, and at that same press conference accused his opponent in the next few days of cheating….. who was the coach of that team

my point is that by comparison Ty’s statements are far less of an issue or a sign of arrogance than what we have previously seen. And this is more of a “DeBoer is too loose on control” attempt. But when you bring up the circus that CNS either allowed or couldn’t control in his last year with players saying and doing whatever they wanted there are crickets.
I generally couldn’t care less what any of them say as long as what they are saying is tethered to reality.

I was wrong. I admitted it. AND MOVED ON after the regular season Georgia game. Yes, I called for CKD to be fired after the FSU game. So did a multitude of others who refuse to move on. OK, I get it. You don't like the man. You don't like his staff. I won't mention His accomplishments; you already know those. Okay, I am going to say it. DeBoer Derangement Syndrome makes Grumpy Old Men.
I too suffer from CKD Derangement Syndrome.
AND
I've been a Grumpy Ole Man for a long, long time.
I'm forced to say we played 3/4 of a good game.
I was shocked when we came back from 17 down.
BUT
We still aren't as physical as we were during the Saban tenure.
Whither you liked Scott or not, he believed in making our players tough.
Part of getting mugged by Georgia was their willingness to run over us. We don't have that anymore.
They were much more physical than we were.

I don't have a problem with what TY said, or how he said it...

I was considering going outside and yelling at the clouds after that first quarter last night.
I was going to do this but the nurses aide from Visiting Angels was afraid it would send me into a tizzy and cause me to soil my Depends. Besides, I was enjoying my second bowl of tapioca pudding…..

I think people really need to reexamine the SECCG. Sure they beat us 28-7. But two of those TDs started in our redzone and another started on our 40. Keep in mind we were down 8 starters at multiple times in that game.

I think if we meet them again in Miami with no further injuries then it’s more likely that we see something closer to game 1 than game 2.

Yeah, I don't really understand why so many people call it a blowout. If you still have an outside shot to win with 7 minutes to go, then that's not a blowout. And if we just give up on the game with 7 minutes to go and punt, instead of going for it deep in our own territory, then it's only a 14 point game. Thus, not a blowout.

I don't think anyone should apologize for anything. Say it and own it. When they play, coach or call good games, I say it. When they put a product on the field, like they have a few games this year, that is awful and they act like they have never played, coached or called a game before, I say it. They are all getting "paid" to win.
