If we run Mark out of town, someone who really wanted to turn this program around and wanted a better forum for the team to play, why would any of your "hot names" want to come to coach basketball here?

A good basketball coach would hopefully have support of the fans. I'm not sure what he would think of fans who get there late, then leave early (most of the time regardless of the game outcome).

Then while we are there, those of us who want to be exuberant and yell and try to single-handedly get that noise meter to go over the first level are being poked and prodded like cattle to sit down and be quiet.

I was trying to imagine what it might have been like at the end of the game tonight when Georgia was struggling at the FT line if we had actually had more than a couple of hundred people yelling and screaming.

For all of those who would love for basketball to be successful, there are the other fans of the big sport who could care less.

I'm not Miss Cleo by any stretch of the imagination and if I could tap into her powers, I'd probably see us running off Mark and in 5 years or so, he has matured into the great coach some of us feel that he has the potential for, and we'll be sitting here, mired in the mediocrity we crave because I can't think of any coach worth his basketball who would want to come and coach here.

We have what we have and it is the best we are going to get, I am afraid. Bama might could get Mike Davis if the Hoosier faithful turn on him like we are willing to do on CMG. Preacher, T.R. Dunn has left here once. What makes you think he would come back?he sees the lack of support we give the team and he decided to go back to coaching the NBA, where at least he would make more money and add to his pension plan. our basketball fans on the whole suck. But not as much as the heart of our basketball team.
