What's funny is...this is not character of Alabama to suspend more than 3 players this season. Before ya'll say something, Depriest, Geno smith and now Ha ha. We don't even know if Drake was suspended at all. Theres more to it and I have a feeling this is going to be long year....

I have been listening to Tide 99.1 on my iPhone--Ryan Fowler said that he would not spread rumors about the reason for the suspension, but what he is hearing is very disappointing. Take that for whatever it's worth.

This entire season so far, NCAA-wide, has left me disappointed.

It's extremely hard make these upperclassmen believe they're not entitled. It was the downfall of our '10 team. Right now, I don't see anyone playing like they want to win the BCS.

And for everyone claiming that it's "ok, all things considered, b/c we're coming up on the easy stretch of our schedule..." in case you haven't noticed, we only have 2-3 tough games all year. The entire home schedule is patsy. There is no reason we shouldn't win every game... unless these guys just have better things to do than focus on their future.

I think the thing that bothers me is the players who have been disciplined were all major contributors last year. It's not like some freshmen who got bored because they knew they were 6th on the depth chart - these are starters.

I'm saying there's sense of entitlement on the team, having experienced National championship, they feel they don't have much to prove anymore and isnt' hungry anymore. I said this will be a long year because I"m not talking about the opponent we play, but in a sense of Alabama v.s Alabama

This kind of stuff generally catches up to team's with title aspirations. Not saying it can't be overcome (we don't length or severity), but this may be a serious blow. With a new corner in Eddie Jackson, it would have been great to see us develop consistency and unity as a secondary during the month of October. Now this...

Boy this season is just not shaping up well at all. We FINALLY find our secondary and Defense this week and now Ha-Ha does whatever he did to get suspended??!! This just doesn't seem to be our year. We obviously have major leadership issues like 2010. I'll take a 12-1,11-2 type season cause I mean that's a good year but this is just not going to be a championship season. The team chemistry is just not there for whatever reason and it's disappointing. This team is outstanding on paper....but there is some selfish non responsible accountability issues obviously.

Without knowing what's going on, there are a lot of assumptions being made. We'll all find out eventually if it was serious enough (he never plays again) or if he did what he was supposed to do (he eventually plays again). Our team is 18-23 year olds (excluding Jai). They make mistakes. If our team attitude is our biggest problem, we are a very fortunate program. Let's just wait for facts before describing how selfish or entitled our players are (a suspension for violation of team rules encompasses a lot of possibilities).

At least Coach doesn't seem to play favorites. Suspending an All American safety and starters at DB and LB earlier. Least we are in a soft part of our schedule. Next man up step forward.

We'll, team attitude certainly can be a problem if it is unsettled or poor. We have a long way to go and anything can happen but there does seem to be a pattern of focus issues. Coach Saban knows exactly where this team is and is not , and, I'm sure, knows where he sees the season going. No one outside the program has any real idea what's going, but clearly it's not all positive.

You have got to wonder if all of the DJ stuff has us more paranoid about agent type stuff then we would normally. I hope it is something less serious than that, but with big stars you always assume the worst.
