Just wanted to chime in here to say, reading the al.com article about the cat and mouse game Harsin was playing at the SEC office in downtown Bham, was really, I don't know, hilarious? I mean, ick. I know that building quite well, as the SEC is a client of mine, I've been there so many times, got the tour last summer of the new, updated, officials review portion of the building, and I've used a couple different entrances and exits based on if I park in the deck or not.

Man, laughing at auburn has become my off-season entertainment. I'd also like to wish my apologies to AUDub.

Interesting that Finebaum has Sankey on a few minutes ago and that talked about the general discussion at the coaches meeting yesterday, conference realignment, NIL and transfer portal, and playoff expansion among other things.

But nothing about Auburn and Harsin? Think Sankey told him that discussion was “off limits”?You bet he did…

The articles written on this are pretty much an engagement in speculation and innuendo; little fact involved. Has there been a significant turnover in staff? Yes...and that's not all bad. CNS has years where he loses about a half or more. Have a number of players left the program? Yes -- 18 is the supposed number. Is that surprising? Not to me...not in a day when the portal exists. Anyone who has watched a regime change at a major university knows that this is to be expected. Once upon a time players just left...now they enter the portal and air their grievances on social media -- or have family members who do so.

Harsin seems to me to be a stand-up coach and person, who has little time for rubbing sore egos. CNS did not either and still does not. Great leaders do not...and mediocrity resents great leaders.

I am most upset with those who attacked Harsin's morality without any obvious proof. As any public figure knows, you are open to such attacks at any time...and you can be tainted with such even though there is not a shred of truth.

These rumor-mongerers -- including Slimbaum and Goodman -- have trashed both Harsin's name and that of the young lady who chose to come work at AU. Slimebaum has done this for a few decades and no one has called him out...he has made a name off this. I hope Bryan Harsin wins every game but one -- and that he would have the opportunity to clip Slimebaum's wings in one way or another.

Wow -- that really felt good coming from a Bama fan who never pulls for AU.

I totally agree with your post, just like when Coach Saban came on board he said there was no accountability from previous staff and he had a few move on just like Harsin because previous coach was loose on discipline sometimes no non sense is what programs need

I really don't remember Finebaum reporting any credibility to the lady rumors; what I have heard has been pretty careful about that stuff. Now all the other obvious concerns that are a matter of record; yes. Had a reporter on today from Boise and his opinion on Harsin's style and fit were pretty damning.

1) Harsin isn’t CNS, and doesnt have the resume as CNS. Thus he doesn’t have the ability to be un challenged dictator at a program.

2) Harsin did alot by himself to cause this whole thing. He is a jerk and a horrible peoples person. If you are going 6-7 as an unproven coach you need Atleast some political savviness to keep people happy and committed to you.

Win and it goes away. Easy enough.

Yet neither went down that road.

Someone above mentioned Class's Instagram account. She has gained 17K followers on her Instagram page in 8 days. Yes, that is a lot. Her first post since December 19 was yesterday--she's skiing in Park City. I'm not convinced that there hasn't been some hanky panky, because of the people I know inside the program and their intel, but like all have said, if you can't prove it, you basically have nothing.

Welcome back to the Plains Coach Harsin!
