...and no Georgia Tech, hence must date to between 1964 and 1991. Best guess would be 1974, based on the jersey number of the basketball player in the cartoon in the upper lefthand corner of the clock face, since it looks like it might be 74 which is not a legal jersey number for basketball.

Very observant, bama61. Few would spot number "74" was not a legal number and conclude date of manufacture was 1974. Sounds reasonable to me. However, somehow in my picture the basketball player is in the upper righthand corner. Gotta get my computer fixed. :wink:
