You've come to THE best site and forums for all things Bama. I'm just a hop, skip and a jump from you over here in Pace, FL (Pensacola metro area). I used to live in Lynn Haven at one point and worked for Bell Sign Company for about a year. Panama City Beach was and still is beautiful and I have fond memories of my short tenure there.

Welcome aboard....My grandfather was on old railroad man....Illinois Central Gulf right out of Tuscaloosa, Ala in the old yard...they dont make them as tough as he was anymore!

:BigA: Welcome in from Deland, Fl. There are a lot of Bama fans in Fla. I was born in Birmingham and became a Bama fan at about the age of 6 also. Only my 6 came in 1940 so I sure know who Laurel & Hardy were. In fact I have statues of them as well as one on a plaque of Coach Bryant. Good to have you on board.

My Mom retired from the Dothan Depot years ago. Her best friend retired fromm the Panama City Office. ( I think she retired she may still be there for all I know...) I work for the Dothan Fire Dpet, and our Admin Office is the old Dothan Depot Building.

Hey Ditchdoc, I use to go into the Bay Line general offices (Dothan FD now) in 1973 when I hired on just to see all the pretty gals and they were plenty of them. What was your moms name I might have known her?

Mom's name is Tina. Yea, she was one of the Bay Line ' gals' along with Charlette, and Lydia and the rest. Her frined in PC is Brenda.

I new them all by face and there was a bunch of them gals back then. Over 35 years ago. Mr. Givens had a way about hiring only the knockouts. I would go in the offices and just stare. Brenda does not work for the Bay Line anymore.
