Didn't Ray Perkins or some try this once? As I remember it was a big failure then and I believe it would be again. Is it just me or is everyone wearing a number on their helmet this year? I saw some disgusting helmets on Wisconsin heads last week, Numbers on the side and big raw W's in front and back. Texas was wearing them right above the longhorn and Syracuse had them on the side also. I like some teams throwbacks but all I want to see at Bama is the Crimson mid-riff tear-away jerseys and a few wishbone options
