Help me crimson friends...

OK, I don't know who to pull for in the national championship game. On one hand, I always pull for SEC teams, especially against PAC 10 and Big 10 teams (thanks for pulling for us in our losing effort by the way...I read the game thread front to back and well, it pretty much mirrored my own thoughts other than some of the late second quarter stuff). On the other hand I have really started to dislike Auburn on a personal level, not in a rivalry sort of way. The Cam stuff just pushed it over the edge.

Now, I have no idea who to pull for. If Auburn wins, it keeps the SEC's streak of championship games alive but it also helps them in recruiting and validates the 200K they spent on their "athlete." On the other hand, if Oregon wins it breaks the SEC streak (I hate having the distinction of breaking the OSU streak...do we need two broken within a week?) but it would be nice to watch Auburn lose even with a professional player (players???).

My wife is committed to pulling for Oregon, she said she doesn't give a crap about what conference they play in, Auburn is dirty and she has hated Cam even since watching our game with them...

Behind every good woman, there's a big dumb pig harboring misplaced and undeserved loyalties. Or at least that's what my good woman always tells me. Seriously, what has Auburn ever done to deserve Swine support? Not that Oregon's ever done anything either, but pull for whichever team you relate to more. I know - any Pac 10 team's a stretch. But not nearly as much as a bunch of cocky, cheating, Bama-obsessed, illiterate, double-y mouth-breathers with little brother syndrome.

No thought was ever completed and it appeared he was trying to use big words without truly knowing their meaning. I guess he's another one of those sociology majors at the Barn.

Had a friend at work (Florida fan) ask me if I were pulling for Auburn.

My wife is an Auburn fan. (I feel your pain Savannahdare) She asked if I was going to pull for Auburn?

"No. You pulled for Texas last year. Why should I?"

I pulled for Tennessee in 98. I pulled for LSU in 03 and 07. I pulled for Florida in 06 and 08. Obviously, I pulled for Alabama in 09. I'd pull for Auburn to lose in tiddly winks. There is nothing good to come from Auburn winning this game.

Not that I need confirmation, but after visiting an "Tiger fav'rit enterweb watering hole" I am so firmly in the pull for Oregon side that I can't see daylight. These mental lightweights deserve NO 'SHIPS for there blatantly and irrational arrogant and mindnumbling idiocy.

I will be honest....I hate the barn so much, I honestly don't think I could ever pull for them against anyone, including Tennessee. For any reason. Under any circumstances. They cheat as much as any school in the country, then point fingers at Bama. They lie.
