The seeds held form in the boys Class 3A, Area 12, Tournament.
Top-seeded Litchfield destroyed fourth-seeded Piedmont, 82-32, and second-seeded Glencoe beat third-seeded Hokes Bluff, 51-46, in boys high school basketball.
Litchfield now faces Glencoe in Tuesday's final at 7 p.m.
While the top seeds advanced, it happened under very different circumstances.
Glencoe had to battle from behind to pull out a victory against its rival.
The Yellow Jackets went on an 18-2 run that started in the third and carried over to the fourth quarter.
"We finally made some shots," said Glencoe coach Donny Pruitt. "With two minutes to go in the third quarter, we were down by eight points. I called a timeout and we had some guys step up and make some shots."
Glencoe trailed 35-29 late in the third, but after the run it had a 10-point lead. The Yellow Jackets then hit their free throws down the stretch to seal the win.
Neither team could ever get into a flow on the offensive end for most of the game.
Hokes Bluff's stifling defense limited Glencoe's offense in the first half.
"Hokes Bluff was playing a strong man-to-man defense, which they always do," said Pruitt. "But sometimes if you can make one shot, it breaks that ice.
"We got one, then we were able to go on a run."
Glencoe got its revenge in the fourth quarter as the Eagles only managed two field goals.
Jay Croft led Glencoe with 13 points. Micah Elkins and Carson Quinn each scored 11 points. Derek Daugherty pulled down 12 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets.
Ball led Hokes Bluff with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Ryan Gray also scored 16 points.
In the other semifinal, No. 3 Litchfield turned up the defensive heat against Piedmont.
Litchfield raced out to a big lead early.
Antorris Crook's dunk in the first quarter gave the Eagles a 14-3 lead.
Using defense to control the game, Piedmont was never able to threaten Litchfield after that.
The Eagles forced 12 turnovers in the opening quarter and 39 for the game.
"I am definitely pleased about that," said Litchfield coach Reginald Huff about his team's defense. "That's been our statement all year. To come out and play defense and really shut the other team down."
The Bulldogs were able to convert some of their opportunities in the second quarter, however, to pull within 33-18 at the half.
In the third, the Eagles really started to pull away. Litchfield forced 11 turnovers as it outscored Piedmont 24-3 in the quarter.
In the fourth, the Eagles' Alex Wright scored nine points and Cornelius Bush scored eight.
Wright led Litchfield in scoring with 11 points followed by Bush's 10. Tavarus Swain scored nine points and Martuan Hughley scored eight.
Casey Stitts led Piedmont with eight points.
"The guys have been anxious about the area tournament," said Huff. "They've been waiting for this. They've done all they can to prove to themselves that they can compete for a state title. But, they've been anxious about this for a few weeks."
Geraldine, Crossville move to final
GERALDINE - Forget Vincent Van Gogh. It wasn't Pablo Picasso either.
If it had been an Alabama football game, there would be no Daniel Moore print. In other words, there was no masterpiece on the mountain Saturday night.

The Bulldogs (26-5) hammered Gaston 70-41 in the first game while Crossville (23-5) overcame severe foul trouble to knock off Sand Rock, 65-55, in the other semifinal.
"I don't know if I'm happy, but I'm glad it's done and out of the way," said Geraldine coach David Owen. "Obviously, you're always glad to win. We were out of sync, sluggish, sick."
Gaston (7-15) trailed only 18-14 with 4:21 left in the first half when the Bulldogs went on a 16-0 run to pull away for a 34-14 lead at the half.
The Bulldogs still were within 45-32 at the end of three when Corey Bryant opened the fourth quarter with three straight 3-pointers to put the game on ice.
Bryant led Geraldine with 26 points, followed by Benji Rice with 15 points and seven rebounds and Judd Rooks with 12 points and six steals. Kerry Majors led Gaston with 15 points while Wykail Majors added 12.
"It doesn't matter how you win this time of year as long as you win," Owen said. "I know our guys were probably looking ahead to Tuesday night.
"Our guys have been looking forward to Tuesday night. It's their chance at redemption. It should be a great fans game. It will be packed here. There should be 1,600 folks here."
Geraldine and Crossvile will meet for the fourth time Tuesday night in the area final at 7. Geraldine won the first two meetings, including a 30-point win in the DeKalb County Tournament final, before Crossville won the last meeting. The Lions almost didn't make it to Tuesday night's final.

Sand Rock scored just five points in the third quarter.
After Brock went to the bench with 2:51 left in the third quarter, the Lions scored just four more field goals the rest of the way.
But Kent Colvin, who led the Lions with 25 points, was 13-of-14 from the line in the fourth quarter, including 10-of-10 in the last 69 seconds.
Stas Branter was the only other Crossville player in double figures with 15 points. He sat out the last 3:08 of the first half with three fouls and didn't start the second half. Will Palmer led Sand Rock with 18 points, followed by Cody Adams with 10.
Tony Hendon, Jake Ford and Ross Lumsden all fouled out for Sand Rock after the Wildcats were forced to foul when Crossville spread the floor.
Still, it was just 51-45 after Palmer buried a 3-pointer with 1:09 remaining. But during the ensuing timeout, the Sand Rock bench was hit with a technical.
Colvin converted both free throws, then broke free down the lane for a layup and was intentionally fouled on the play and sank both free throws for a 57-45 advantage.
