Watched the AL/MS All Star Game - first time I had seen some of our recruits play and I was very impressed with Hood's abilities and aggressiveness. Could very well be a solid contributor at the Safety position next year as a Freshman. What's the feel on him - Baseball/Football?:conf3:

He is very fast and an excellent centerfielder. I just wish he would choose to play college ball as opposed to the minor leagues. I don't know if he prefers football over baseball or the other way around. I would just love to see him in Crimson and White.

More than likely, he will go the baseball route for the big signing bonus.

Alabama commit Destin Hood did not play in the All-star game. None of the St. Pauls players were in that game.

The Hood that played in the game was DB D'Antoine Hood from Central-Phenix City. He is not being recruited by Alabama.

Thanks - sorry for the error. Still I was impressed with D'Antoine Hood's play; I believe he was #4. (I may be getting old - is #4 Destin Hood's number also - I watched the YouTube Video's on Destin and he had the same play maker qualities) :BigA:

I don't have any insight in to Destin Hood's situation, but if he can get a million dollar contract, I can't blame him for playing baseball. If the baseball thing does not work out, he can always play football later.
