How do you think the Saints will do next year, or hope they do?

I think the Saints will have a more successful year than the past year. I hope at least 9 wins.
And yet you have a Titans icon? lol yea but im sure theyll get more than 9 with deuce coming back and I also heard that they have a chance of getting Zach Thomas and of course they have the best Strong Safety in the League.

as a lifelong saints fan, i've been conditioned to keep my expectations low. despite a crappy season, they still had a shot at the playoffs going into the last couple weeks in a weak nfc. so far i'm very happy with the moves they've made in the last week or so (went after thomas, stole lb jonathan vilma from the jets, signed cb randall gay). if those moves can solidify that defense, i'd be disappointed if they didn't get back to the post season...especially in a VERY winnable division.

As someone who suffered through the Billy Kilmer and Archie Manning years I would love to finally see the sun shine on the Saints and that Godforsaken city. Deuce, IMO has been much more of a solid performer than Reggie - but they do make a good combination.

Unfortunately, New Orleans has long been known as a great host for Super Bowls. - with the local team finishing in the cellar.

I was raised on a Saints baby-blanket ..... Why ? :p_blank:

I do like the Saints & believe this year will be better but , I never really let my hopes get too high as the ending has always been the same . :(

That's ok. The Saints have never been anything but a continuous embarassment.

you probably like to tell everyone about alabama's "12" too don't you?? meanwhile, in regards to the cowboys, the mid 90's keep getting farther and farther away. however, the cowboys have lost 4 straight to the saints. and in the last 10 years the cowboys are exactly 0-3 in the playoffs. the saints...2-2. this is recent history.

Yes I'm aware of the Cowboys recent playoff struggles and they haven't done well against New Orleans lately. But Dallas is still a famous franchise and New Orleans is.... and always will be......the AINTS!
