We could win 2-0 on a safety and I would still be mostly happy. The complaint thread for a 2-0 win would be epicGonna say 35 minimum but I honestly do not care as long as we win.

Kane Wommack cannot contain mobile QBs, period. Admittedly, I'm not sold on Stockton. I think Simpson is simply a better version of Stockton, but this Bama coaching staff simply sucks on the road. So...yes.can yall help me understand a little bit. Is the reason many are saying high 30 and even in the 40 range because of defensive concerns?

I will say, Georgia has not looked great at LOS on either side of the ball this year. Injuries and a lot of people moving around. Stockton has been able to mask some of the major problems at offensive line.Yes. We have no illusions that we will be able to control the LOS on both sides of the ball.
That is mine. Ya'll have that "not panic" so I think even if we jump out like last year or the way Tennessee did, you will settle in and stage some sort of comeback. If we go into a shell after an initial burst, our defense could be in trouble.can yall help me understand a little bit. It's not how many points that offense will need to score to win. it's what the Defense will allow points for Offense to have chance to seal the game away.I'm thinking we will need 38 points at least. I'm thinking Georgia is going to try and run the ball at the beginning of the game. If we score quickly then Georgia will have to try and keep up with the Bama offense.
This is where I'm atTo me it isn't about how many points, but really if Alabama can have a balanced offense. Alabama is 13th in the SEC in rushing, their top rusher is 35th in the SEC, and they are only handing the ball off 35% of the time.
If Alabama gives up on the run too early, they can end up putting too much pressure on both Ty and the defense. So to me the key is can they have a semblance of a running game or not. If they can't, they're probably going to need to score about 40 to win. Georgia is beatable but the question remains if this Alabama team is the one to do it.
i would reach true enlightenment if that actually happenedWe could win 2-0 on a safety and I would still be mostly happy. The complaint thread for a 2-0 win would be epic
^^^^^ ThisI think Ty will need to run for about 50yds to win along with a diverse passing attack.
I to am not inclined to put Stockton in the Heisman over that one throw in the Tennessee game. I am uneducated when it comes to the quality of Georgia's secondary and as others have said the game revolves around Bama handling their run game to a degree then having some success throwing the football.I might be a little stubborn with coming around on Stockton, but I still don't think he's a great downfield passer. I think he was able to take advantage of Tennessee's weak secondary, but I believe our secondary is far superior. I do worry about him as a runner, but he's more of a runner in the mold of Jackson Arnold than Castellanos, and is UGA willing to let him run and take hits in this game because he's not necessarily elusive.
