Our board is always making fun of ESPN, but in all honesty, it seems that most of us are forced to watch it anyways. So let's see how much of this entertainment we actually watch?

When ESPN first started up, I watched it dailly. Now I watch very little of it. Generally I have to know that something about Bama is going to be on. I truly believe that ESPN has a major grudge against Bama. If the recruiting rankings this year don't prove it to you...you have your head in the sand.

Actually it's against southeastern conference teams. Corso and Fowler after the BCSNG looked like they were being forced to eat monkey poo when they had to say that LSU was the BCSNC and "THE" Ohio St. got exposed.....again.

I think of the SEC teams they don't like, Bama is near or at the top of their list of the ones they despise the most. But make no mistake the national media associates the the SEC with the "Old South/Slavery/Bigot" stereotype.

I mostly watch it for SportsCenter and Alabama games. Depending on the topic, like baseball or extended NBA coverage, I'll change channels b/c the last thing I want to hear about is baseball or see extended NBA coverage. I've watched a bit of the talking heads shows b/c it is somewhat interesting. If I see LeBatard on PTI however, I won't watch it at all.

I watch games only. There shows PTI etc... are terrible. The only sports center I watch is right after a game and thats usually not for long.

I watch it for college football games and shows. I used to watch SEC basketball, but with ut winning and Bama not I have gave up on Sec basketball. I haven't watched basketball since last years Bama game in Gainesville. I can't take anymore of it.:pDT_velo:

It's more that I don't like baseball and the NBA than anything else.

I rarely watch ESPN anymore. If Alabama is playing on ESPN, I definitely watch, but other than that I rarely watch it. The only exception is during football season I watch college football games and College Gameday.

Does watching it for Poker count? I mean it doesn't even seem like ESPN duing the poker shows. They actually say intelligent funny things at poker tournaments. Need to get some of those guys to commentate the football games. What about Scrabble and Spelling Bee?

I only turn on ESPN to watch Alabama football or possibly another high profile SEC football game, but regardless of who I am watching, no sound, always hit the MUTE button. Those guys and the entire network sucks.

I used to watch it regularly. But now it is so politicized and clearly anti-south (especially Bama) that it is difficult to stomach for more than a few seconds. I mute the Bama games.

you can tell how biased they are when you watch the talk shows (PTI) because all they talk about is pro sports and such which doesnt apply much to the south .. and its all Boston sports teams like the red sox and the pats non stop.. makes me sick

i cuss espn as much as anyone, but i still watch it. i mean what are my alternatives?? fox sports?? vs.?? i watch sportcenter while i'm on the treadmill every morning, and i watch all games that interest me whether its the tide, the sec, or an interesting matchup from another conference.

Another big issue is that CBS gets most of the prime SEC games. ABC/ESPN does all of the other BCS conferences and some SEC leftovers.

I watch it, but I don't like it.

I think Joe Morgan is as far below average as a baseball analyst as he was above average as a second baseman and you can tell him I said so. :frown:

I barely watched gameday this past season. I just don't need the hype, and if I didn't do a couple of things around the house and yard before the games start on Saturdays I don't get anything done all day. Plus Fowler is a tool. :frown:
