I took a look at the Barn's schedule for next year:

In which game is The Chiz going to ruin his streak?

According to this schedule, he plays WVU, MSU, Kentucky then Ball State. If he finds a way to lose to Ball State, he is well-positioned to lose Tennessee, Arkansas, Southern Miss, LSU and Ole Miss.

Surely, even Chizmeister can beat Furman on November 7? Or can he?

MSU, no doubt.

Aubie is high on Chiz, he is supposed to be a great recruiter.

At Iowa State he went (ranked by Rivals)

2008 #62
2007 #60

before Chiz
2006 #63
2005 #58
2004 #42

Does not look too good for the future to me

If they manage to get to Ball State without a win, that game will be monumental for the Barn. Lose it and thay don't manage 40,000 in the stands for most of their remaining games (Bama is the exception), donations drop, it gets REAL ugly...

Can you really believe that Jacobs was willing to roll the dice on his job/career in this way? Either he is really dumb, knows something no one else does -- or someone else is pulling the strings and he is a dancing marionette! Reminds me of old what's his face who pushed Gene Stallings out the door! Where is he, anyway?

Don't be surprised to see the barn pay WV to cancel the game. It is not without precedent. Remember the Florida State cancellation Tubbs first year? FSU was #1 and they wanted no part of them.

The West Virginia game, which is ironically enough the first game of the season, should seal the deal on the remaining 11 games.

I hope to see a 56-0 loss in his last game of the regular season. :)

If they are 0-11 going into Bama game, do you think he will still be the coach at the Barn? I don't!

This thing has already gone further than I thought it would. On Saturday night I figured the uproar would prevent the hire from being finalized. Much more dissent on this hire than the Bowden hire or the Jet-gate fiasco. It simply proves that AU's power base is very top heavy. Vets, pharmacists, engineers, teachers and the like do not make that much money and hence they do not donate tons as individuals and that is why ego-maniacs like Lowder can do what they want/please (they buy their power with their million dollar donations). It will take a concerted grassroots effort with thousands of nickle and dime donors and everyday season ticket holders to change things at the Barn. Auburn, like many other schools, is run by their aristocracy (the landed gentry, if you will) and in a feudal system like this the masses get dumped on and ignored until they unite as one.

I'll be surprised if Chizik coaches one game at the barn.

Some high dollar donors ain't happy.

According to the amount of uproar caused in just 4 days, I'm like you. Chiz may not last 'till Christmas!
I agree with both posts... Chiz is not being accepted by even the most foolish, koolaid drinking barners.. Wouldn't suprise me a bit if he is gone before spring practice.

It is great to see them back where they belong. It has been a long time coming for the chaos to overwhelm them, not that it takes much. At the rate he is going, he may not make it to spring practice. Now that Ball St. will be replacing their coach, I think he may get his first win then. I see 4 or 5 wins for them at most next year regardless of anything else.....

I'm ok with those results..

Monday morning I asked my AU co-workers if it was premature for us to print a Bama version of fear the thumb. They weren't amused.

Isn't Pat White a Senior? Not having him next year, especially in the first game, could swing that game in AU's favor. Especially having it at home. AU's defense will be good...which at home is a huge advantage for them...even as bad as they are.
