It was really loud when BAMA made a big play. I dont remember much crowd enthusiaum in the first half but after the int ret for a TD and then the long bomb BDS was rocking.

the wave

Talking about the wave. I believe it was most all of section N that kept screwing it up. Section NN and MM kept trying and N kept missing it. They finally started it the other way (clock wise) and it went around a couple of times. Is there a rule that the wave has to go clock wise? Just wondering?

The wave looked good from beneath the Jumbotron in the endzone! Although some fans wanted to continue doing the wave right before the kickoff as all Bama fans should be trying to yell ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Tide Roll!

I thought the crowd was about normal for a non-conference game. Loud only when something big happened. I hope its different this weekend. We need to make BD rock this coming Sat.

I was impressed to see the large crowd for the opener with it being Utah State and all. The crowd, which was kinda laid back in the first half, got more into the game in the second half after the big plays by castille with the interception, and Brown's long td pass. The wave looked good in the second half--it went around nicely a few times.

The crowd was loud at times, especially on third down and the defense was needing a boost.

Yeah the wave was pretty good, I was in the south endzone up high and it looked good from there.

Overall I'd give the grade of B- to the crowd....

no wave will ever compare to the one during the rain delay of the Arkansas game last year.....it was 10 plus times all the way around

the wave for Ole Miss two years ago was pretty good...

mostly because the wave kept going even thought the puke ole miss fans didn't participate. it would get to there section, stop, then continue on the other side. the whole stadium would boo everytime they didn't participate.

As for U4, this game was the first time i have ever sit in the upper deck and it will be the last!! i definitely enjoy watching the game closer to the field.

Probably an NCAA violation.

the crowd was loud at times, I was more impressed(as I posted in another thread) that the stadium was full, very few empty seats, and there were very few tickets being sold on the street. seems to be alot of enthusiasm this year

This was my first ever game at BDS. We were in N6 of the endzone. It was pretty loud to me. But then I don't have any other experience to base it on. I did learn a good lesson though. Make sure you have tickets before you get there. We liked to never got tickets. Finally bought some at the will-call where people didn't pick them up. But we missed the entire first quarter. :frown:

Great crowd.

I have not heard but wanted to pt out the class by the student section when the refs called the punt down on the one. Nothing was thrown from the stands. That was a call that would have been deserving.

Great job students!
