This current A&M student just wanted to drop in and say hello to my new conference brethren. Looking forward to a fresh start in the best athletic conference in the country.

Welcome and hope ya'll do well the balance of the year. I realize Okie State has a tremendous offense but I thought you would pull it out.

Y'all might consider getting some girls as cheerleaders, it might make you fit in a little better in the SEC. We are big on stuff like that. :)

I notice when Bama and A&M are being discussed on national tv, they always point out what a strong tie the two programs have with Coach Bryant. They also will mention Stallings.

But oddly enough, Coach Fran never comes up.

It was a touchy subject for Bama fans for several years, but I think in retrospect Bama fans are almost as grateful for A&M helping us out with Fran as we were for the Bryant connection.

That may be overstating things a little, but I feel safe saying we were pleased with the swap.

Welcome to the SEC! I'm among those who like this addition. Since it's a foregone conclusion that the conference is going to grow anyway, we might as well take our pick of the crop. I sent a note to a good friend of mine who's an Aggie alum .... his response was that while he's glad they're moving they're going to have to step up their game compared to what they've been used to in the "big 12".

Welcome to the best conference in America! I truly think your school will add value to our league and bring a fan base that will fit in well with the rest of us. Good luck against Oklahoma and please beat the crap out of Texas!

Ag2012 -Welcome aboard. Texas A M has a lot of tradition, and I believe will add alot to our conference... and from one SEC Brother to another I wish you well.

I do not know what kind of message boards you are use to being apart of...but this Tidefans.com website is the best bar none. Very well informed administrators and moderators take this site very seriously...so join in the fun and conversation and keep it clean.

Welcome to the Southeastern Conference. You have made the big time and your athletics will improve dramatically. First the rules, when the Mods and Admins ask you to step away from your computer take it as sage advice, they say what they mean and mean what they. This is a knowledgable and hospitable group as long as you follow the rules. The final rule is that it is okay to say anything bad or derogatory about AU as long as it contains no profanity. I was laughing at this and my Aggie wife was quick to look at me sternly and say they are yell leaders. She must have lost her sense of humor after the Okie State game. I guess we'll be visiting "the chicken" sometime soon. So Howdy back. Whoop.

Welcome to the SEC. I for one have loved this message board after the last couple of years.
