What is Harold Bugg doing now since leaving 730 AM the Ump morning sports show? I heard bits and pieces of him on Finebald the other day. Thanks!

Nothing at the moment that I know of. He is sorely missed in the AM by a lot of people. I hope he and Brett Beard can get another gig locally because they
brought a lot to college football and to the other sports as well.

I guess time will tell.

Agreed. The sports Bugg was the best sports radio show I had ever heard and a great source for sports information. I did hear a rumor that he was interviewing for a position on the network that Finebaum is on. After the way Harold was treated by his former employers, though, I'm glad he left 730.

I read in the Huntsville Times that Harold Bugg will have a syndicated Southern sports radio show starting March 26, called "SportsBuzz with Harold Bugg." It will be aired on stations around the Southeast on the SMI Radio Network.

I don't know the call letters or station number for that matter, but he is going to be working for his old buddy Jamie Cooper (used to be on HSV channel 31 news) at his new radio station.
