I can pull for any SEC except for the Vol-in-tears, and that just hold true until the large tub-o-goo has been exiled. As long as he's there I hope they lose every game by the largest margin possible. I wish that SOB nothing but bad fortune.

I'll pull for my conference always against others. Including the barn on very rare occasions (as long as it couldn't possibly affect the Tide adversely) , with a few exceptions. Those being if the game is against the 2 or 3 non-SEC schools that I've become a fan of, while living in other parts of the country.

It's easier for me to tell you which teams I would pull for than which teams I wouldn't.

1. Vandy
2. Kentucky
3. South Carolina

Sometimes...

4. Georgia (hey...any team that can whip the barn's rear can't be too bad)

5. Florida (any team that can whip UT can't be too bad)

6. LSU (I always pull for them against Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss, no matter who's their coach or how some of their fans act).

The rest can go to Hades.

I used to be one of those rare individuals, who actually pulled for the barn in most games besides the UA/AU game of course. Up until the Tubberville era, that is. Tubbervile took the barn and their fan base to new levels of low class. I always respected Pat Dye and still do. No way I can respect Tubberville with his childish and immature behavior, i.e., "Fear The Thumb" T-shirts, finger waving antics, gloating, etc. I now pull for whoever the other team is - no matter who.

I can pull for most any other team in the SEC with exception of Tenn and UF.

I can pull for any SEC team when they aren't playing Alabama besides the Viles. Our kid brothers across the state have, admittedly, gotten a little big for their manure-stained britches in recent years but I can still smile and chuckle at the tasteless and unsure way they handle mild success.

These mild successes of our two biggest rivals, are-of course-a direct result of our being on probation and we will soon be able to pull for them again in non-conference games. (As we will re-take our seat as the SEC's Capstone football program in no more than 2 seasons.)

FWIW, Johnny Majors was a class act, and if a decent fella like him gets the UT job when Phatlock gets fired after going winless this year, I would consider adopting them once again as 'kid brother #2.'
ditto! My exact feelings.

I would not pull for terdersee or the barn even if they were playing a team that featured Saddam, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mussolini, etc.

Im one of those guys who cheer for certain players on the Barn but dont like the Coach!! I want to see them do well but as long as I dont see the coach... Tennessee I will never cheer for them... Miss State is starting to become a little annoying in my book also!!

That question is more complicated for some than others. I work with a mix of fans from all over the country. I know of three other BAMA fans here on Oahu and one transfers out Friday. The fans of other schools and conferences can't wait to beat on us every time an SEC school loses to another school. Man, have I heard it from the pac 10 fans about tennersee, arky, and the barn losing to cali and the other usc. And what can you say? Our thrilling victory over Arkansas last year doesn't look so wonderful when you see them get beat by 31 against Missouri. And if foolorida somehow loses to the rainbow warriors this year, you know I'll be hearing chants of "revenge against the SEC" from the locals.
HOWEVER, in a couple of years when I retire and return to the Great State of Alabama and no longer have to deal with the fair weather fanatics of the other conferences I will cease any and all goodwill toward tennersee and the barn. I'll probably throw the gaytors on that list, too, just because when I lived there every one of those nouveau riche clowns claimed to be a "lifelong gator fan" but couldn't name a single uf coach who was there before sos. And I used to like lsu, but their fan base is trying hard to change that. I'm really getting bored with the way they put the "eaux" on the end of every word. If that's the way you want to spell it, then geaux to France. Otherwise, I'm sure the 4 actual cajuns who are lsu football fans would like you to stop.
