I had not heard anything. However, according to the box score, Glenn Miles did not see any action. Keep me posted if you hear anything.

Someone just called into Eli's show with this same question. Eli wasn't familiar with it. The caller said CMG was supposed to make an announcement today.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but from what I've heard about campus, Miles might have left the team due to being low on the depth chart. Hopefully, Coach Gotfried will shed some clear light on the situation.

rumors are flying

One is that he was on the same AAU team us Texas' Mike Williams and will have to sit for a while because of "extra benefits" like travel expenses, as Mike Williams will.

Another is that he is "homesick". Yes, I know he's from Birmingham and is only a 45 minute car ride from home.

I've also heard the one mentioned above about prospective lack of playing time. Frankly, If Daniels is going to be the back up PG it is hard to see where minutes for Miles will come from. Shelton, Weber and Jonus look like they'll get all the two guard minutes.

33/40 just said he was deep on the depth chart and decided to transfer. I hate to see him leave bc i think he would of helped us out in the future, either way good luck Mr. Miles

reasons. The best way of putting it, I guess, was that he was having trouble adjusting to the schedules and demands of college life, studies, and BB. I did also (not the BB part). He was given multiple chances. He's a fine young man and I wish him the best...
