I love the approach. That's one thing that always annoyed me about "silent commits" or guys that waited until signing day to announce. Don't we want our kids out there trying to get their friends to come to? Don't we want them as vocal as possible? It seemed to me that Tebow going to Florida last year started a stream of players and set them up for the championship. Alabama got the guy they really needed, but they had to wait until signing day. Whose mind was that going to change, you know?I love this kid.
Let 'em laugh. It only sounds like sour grapes, to me. Or, could it be nervous laughter? At any rate, they wanted him, they recruited him, and they got him to commit to them...........then they lost him to us! If it didn't bother them, they wouldn't be talking about it so much. They're saying on Tigerforums that Davis may not even qualify. Scratch that, they're laughing their butts off.....
Still making the rounds
A day after committing to Alabama, West Monroe defensive lineman Luther Davis was one of eight prospects making official visits to Louisiana Tech this weekend. According to West Monroe football coach Don Shows, Davis, a 6-foot-4, 260-pounder, lacks both the necessary ACT score and core grades to be academically eligible to play as a freshman.
Biography:
As a junior (13-1) Luther finished with 74 tackles, 6 sacks, 10 quarterback hurries and 14 tackles for a loss.
Davis was named to the 1st Team All-State, District, All-N' East LA squads for his play on the field; bench: 325/squat: 505/power clean: 315
Final senior (11-1) stats: 68 tackles/13 sacks/8 forced fumbles/22 tackles of loss/4 fumbled recoveries/5 blocked field goals/2 interceptions.
Davis reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 19 ACT retake.
When the adversary enters our domain to try to spread doubt in our minds.....it is a good thing. It is a sign that the adversary has their own doubts and worries.I would not hold out hope on L. Davis, his mind changes as often as his underwear. From what I hear, he doesn't want to be too far away from mamma, thus La Tech enters the picture.
There are several, including some of your mods. Tigerforums and Tidefans are the two best forums I've found so far. Seriously folks, I hope no one from our site is wasting time on other schools chat boards. How pathetic.

Well lets just hope his underware has a rather wretched smell come NSD.I would not hold out hope on L. Davis, his mind changes as often as his underwear. From what I hear, he doesn't want to be too far away from mamma, thus La Tech enters the picture.

I'll believe Luther Davis going to LA Tech when I see it. Until then, it's more misinformation coming from the state of LA IMHO.Well lets just hope his underware has a rather wretched smell come NSD.
