I went ahead and bought a Sugar Bowl Ticket from http://www.StubHub.com a few minutes ago...

Anyone interested in going to the game should purchase their tickets NOW b/c the online ticket brokers will raise prices for all tickets once the teams that will play in the game are announced later this evening.

It will be Alabama (vs) Utah -- OR -- Alabama (vs) Ohio State

Utah's Schedule:

Ohio State's Schedule:

It's going to be a Great Game -- I'm hoping that we match up against Utah b/c Ohio State would be a stronger and more physical opponent IMHO

:BigA: Roll Tide :BigA:

You may want to purchase a Fiesta Bowl ticket instead. If FLA doesn't get enough votes then they go to Sugar and Bama to Fiesta.

The Gators are a lock for the BCS National Championship Game. They are #1 in new AP poll and #2 in coaches poll. That's 2/3 of the BCS right there, and the computers will have them #1 after beating the former #1 team last night. Bama goes to the Sugar Bowl to play Utah.

Hawaii was undefeated too. I'm just sayin.

You are right, but Utah is a far better team than Hawai'i ever was. The former Rainbows rode a ridiculously easy schedule to an undefeated team, but this Utah team has beaten a lot of quality opponents this season. There's nothing at all shabby about wins over Oregon State, BYU, and TCU.

They certainly aren't an elite team, and not really worthy of their top ten BCS rating, but this is a pretty dang good squad with talent that's a lot better than you would imagine from a non-BCS school. In all fairness, it's probably a legitimate top twenty team, and I think they would be good enough to make a bowl game even if they played in a BCS conference.

They are much more like 2006 Boise State than they are 2007 Hawai'i.

What section did you buy? I went to stub hub just before I saw this post and was about to start a thread about this. Where will the Bama fans be located? I'm sure we'll be spread out but if I have my choice I'd like to be where most other Bama fans will be. Thanks.:BigA:

Ditto this.

I'm kidding more than anything else. That Oklahoma team is nooooooooo where near as good as the team that will be representing my alma mater.
Honestly, if we still had Shula as coach this game would worry me, but after seeing a truly gifted head coach instill hard work, focus, and sincere dedication into everything they do I have none of the fears I once did. Our guys will be ready and I have a feeling Coffee and Ingram are going to have absolute field days. Oh, and JJ might find a mismatch or two on a few routes.

I purchased my ticket in Section 628 (Terrace Level)

From what I can tell by looking at the SuperDome's seating chart, section 628 is almost dead center in the middle of the endzone...

I hope the view from my seat is alright,

Depends on how high it is in the terrace. The terrace at the Dome gives new meaning to "nose bleeds".
