Yep, this has been going on forever.
We lost 2 to the portal who could have ran it as well.Personally, I think we may have a couple of QB's that could run DeBoer's office. In my opinion, Milroe isn't one of them.
Love Maze but he’s completely leaving out context.
When you get baited by words into physicality resulting in a 15 yard penalty in a must-convert situation for your offense, you have lost the mind game as well as the football game.Love Maze but he’s completely leaving out context.
Yeah we’ve had players talk trash but the difference is THEY BACKED IT UP.
You can’t run your mouth while you are getting beat by the other team performing better than you.
Shut your mouth and win your individual battles.
It’s crazy, but I actually kinda just don’t like our football team, collectively, for the first time in my life. I don’t like their attitude and I don’t like their behavior. If I got offered a free autographed football from this team, I’d say no thanks. How about disrespecting Vandy during practice leading up to the game, then in the center of the field at the coin toss? Total lack of class. After the game, when I heard that the players had done that, I was glad that they lost.
A team that acts like that does not deserve respect. They deserve to lose. These kids believe the LANK stuff. They believe that they have arrived. It makes me sick to watch.
Personally, I don't listen to "Mom and Pops" Youtube channels from "self-made Influencers" trying to make a dollar by responding to the latest outrage. Nothing against your personal opinion, but i was done with hacks like Josh Pate many months ago. I'll stay with the professionals and their opinion. If you go to YouTube (I won’t post links due to violation of rules— go research on your own) watch Kangaroo Black latest video. I promise by the 7:30 mark he will have said all that most of us feel right now. It’s more frustrating than it hurts right now.
I was hurt when we lost to Clemson in 16
I was hurt when we lost to Auburn in 2010
I was real hurt when we lost to Florida in 1994
this one just flat out irritates me.
I couldn't agree more. If I received one as a gift, it would get put in the pile of other balls to toss around the yard.If I got offered a free autographed football from this team, I’d say no thanks.
That's not something that is exclusive to this year's team. Are you forgetting about the on field tantrums after the Michigan game? Or the trash talking and running their mouths to the media? I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. The point is, the culture issues predate DeBoer, so it's difficult to say DeBoer had anything to do with this. I think some of it will go away when certain players leave. I also think some of it is here to stay, because of our new college football reality. Not a thing other than the product on the field. Continual mouthing with the opposing team, kicking the football when it set for play, shoving an opposing player. There appears to be no consequence for behavior. Class and character! It starts at the top.
I was just discussing this with a friend today.Might have been brought up previously or in another thread but a thought exercise.
Step 1 - If CNS stays, what players who would be the starters or major contributors this year that stay? Likely Downs. Probably not Bond. Maybe Key? Maybe someone else in the defensive backfield. Can't think of any other receivers or skill guys. OL is pretty much in tact. DL and LB are in tact as far as contributors go.
Step 2 - Considering the hypothetical non-departures and the fact that the quality of the assistant coaches (in aggregate) is probably higher under CKD vs CNS....
would our record at this point be any different? It's unlikely we lose to Vandy but more likely we lost to UGA. UT is a push. Looking forward do we feel better or worse about the upcoming schedule?
I would propose the final record this year might not be that much different with CNS vs CKD. Maybe 1 loss difference 2 vs 3 or 3 vs 4.
I'm hopeful CKD is working towards sorting out who he wants and who will be sent packing. That's not something that is exclusive to this year's team. needs to figure that out with the staff as well, we got a few that needs to be spending less time hanging around the bars during the middle of the week and more time in the film roomI'm hopeful CKD is working towards sorting out who he wants and who will be sent packing.
I think he is giving players the benefit of the doubt and has an idea of who they will ask to stay.
THe problem is that they fear being thought of as "soft". A lion cares not for the opinions of sheep. When you get baited by words into physicality resulting in a 15 yard penalty in a must-convert situation for your offense, you have lost the mind game as well as the football game.

Resting one's elbow to the throat as you're getting up from the pile is usually quite effective. There's nothing like letting your play do the talking
