We are a republic. Not many on the left admit that. A republic that uses the “one vote to represent many” mindset that the electoral college is based. The one the left keeps trying to destroy.

That same republic that uses a series of checks and balances to guide us. Even though it’s been thrown aside, several times since Obama was elected, to circumvent congress and the will of the people, that make up this republic.

In this case, it seems that the rules provided by this republic, gave the SCOTUS the power to present an outcome that is in conflict with the personal beliefs of some.

To me, rulings like this actually make the republic stronger, because it came within the powers granted to the courts to decide matters just like this. And not around the edges of the law, like those on the left are so happy to praise.

This is proof that our system when used properly works. Whether you disagree on the outcome doesn’t change the fact that they had the power and responsibility to rule.

Well, congratulations. The president now has the power to have his political rivals killed. He has the power to kill peaceful and legal protesters. He has power to literally violate every law and every restriction on the president's power. And he is immune from any consequences. I hope you are happy when it happens.

The reason this ruling came about in the first place, is because one candidate was trying to jail “his” rival in order to tilt the election.
