Question: If FSU beats UF?

Just wondering on this scenario....

If FSU beats UF, and then UF were to beat us in the SEC Championship game, does that keep us out of a BCS bowl since UF would go to the Sugar Bowl? I don't like thinking negative, but this thought just creeped into my head. Do we possibly still get an at large BCS bowl berth, perhaps the Fiesta? Thoughts?

Forget the what-ifs. Alabama is in the drivers seat and that is all that matters. As long as the Tide does its part the rest will not matter. Alabama will play the winner of the Big 12 in the BCS Title Game. Texas or Oklahoma. JMHO :BigA:

As long as we beat Auburn, I would say we are virtually guaranteed a spot in a BCS bowl game, regardless of the outcome of the UF/FSU game or the SECCG.

Agreed. We only need one more win for an almost guaranteed BCS bowl bid. Hopefully we'll just go ahead and win both so there's no debate!

If that scenario were to unfold, it would probably send us to the Fiesta Bowl.

As long as we beat Auburn, we'll be in a BCS bowl game somewhere. Of course, I expect it to be Miami.

My grandmother used to say 'if' is a big word for only two letters. In this case the 'if' is a big task for FSU. I am not going to say it can't happen, but the odds are against FSU beating UF tomorrow. Florida has won four straight in the series against Florida State and is heavily favored to make it five in a row. I wouldn't worry to much about about what UF does against FSU. No matter what happens in that game Bama will still have to beat UF to get to the NC game. Like others said we should just worry about Alabama taking care of their business the next couple of weeks.

This time it's Florida with the most to lose.

I hope the the gators run up another 50+ pt game and blow out FSU. That way they can keep hearing how good they are and how they will blow out Bama. :wink::wink:

Now if Florida beats FSU by a huge blow out & come to Georgia & sudden in the game they just realize they can not score this big on Alabama this will be there down fall & Florida will not be in a comfortable zone another words I think Tim tebow will worry & start making mistakes it will be our favor to take advantage over that.
