If we need to look for a new OC, what about this guy?

Bobby Humphrey. He's available, and rumor was Shula seriously considered hiring him before going with Radar. Not sure how his style would mesh with Shula's, but I'd bet he would be a better recruiter, and a better OC. Let Shula handle the QBs, give the rest to Hump.

"we" need to look for a new OC??????? I think the powers that be pretty much know who to look for & who would ACTUALLY come to work here & who's on any lists - IF any posiitons WERE to come open....... OH GOOD GRIEF - I am AMAZED.

IF (and I seriously doubt there will be an opening and if there is, they will not ask us) it happens, how about Larry Fedora? Could be CMS's back-up plan! ;)

You guys know there is no one in the country that would actually want to coach here, right? Maybe the powers that be should look north of the border to the CFL. I hear the Argonauts OC might be available.

decides to leave, I'd expect the successor to come from the pro ranks. And I don't mean "semi-pro."

You're probably right, that's definitely where Shula's comfort zone is.

Has Dave Rader had much success anywhere that he has coached?

Does Mike Shula really let Dave Rader do much "offensive coordinating"?

Does anyone on the coaching staff really care much about running the football? (besides the running backs coach)

Why would an obviously pass-oriented coach hire an ex running back as an offensive coordinator?

Honestly.. what difference would it make who our OC is???

Shula calls the plays.. or at least thats what all of you have been telling me for so long. I vote for TIDE-HSV for our new OC

I think Coach Rader should be allowed to succeed or fail before we talk about replacing him.

I agree with TMac on this subject. I don't think Rader's had enough tools to get the job done so far. And without the tools nobody can do it. In a couple years if we still can't block, pass or catch then look for help somewhere else. Now if he leaves on his own accord then Humphrey would be as good as any to me. Of course I prefer the running game myself. ;)
