In a heavily Dem district where the IL GOP decided not to waste resources or time when a snowball in hell has a better chance of happening. This racist nutbag leapt at the chance and the progressive-sycophant MSM is now going to guarantee the association of real racism with the GOP... I agree, there ought to be "something" that state's GOP or maybe the GNC could do to stop him from being on the ballots as a "Republican". You'd at least think they could anyway.

They managed to get him off the ballot last go around due to him not having valid signatures on his petition, but he apparently crossed his Ts and dotted his Is this time around. What to do, what to do.

If I was the state chair, I would push for a rule that says you have to be approved by a party committee to get on the ballot and they could deny you a spot if they wanted to.

Back when Moore was trying to get his job back, the AL Dems managed to nominate an idiot because he was the only one who got his paperwork in on time. Not long afterwards, said nominee made some openly racist statements in an interview. The state committee voted to remove him from the ballot rather than continue to have the party associated with such ideas.
The IL GOP may not have that option available, and to his credit, the state party chair is saying all the right things. But you can't expect the Democrats not to use it, particularly given Trump's base.
