Guess now Rolando will start watching Survivorman instead.
Survivorman actually has some integrity to it. That Little River Canyon "Wild" episode was ridiculous, at least to anyone who's familiar with the river...

That episode was a comedy hour and nothing more. It was the first episode I watched in probably 2-3 years.

I was telling my dad during the interview
Why do people talk during interviews? I almost killed a guy watching the game with me when Saban was being interviewed and he spoke.

Talk during interviews = get out of my house

ESPECIALLY interviews with Erin Andrews!
<--- not a UA image, please don't sue.

Yes, having spent a good bit of time there myself it was pretty funny. The wild hog, really?

Being from north AL, I'm surprised Ro bought that one. I don't know why they selected that site. They had to keep their camera angles low, so as not to show the homes lining the canyon rim. Some "wild."

If I remember correctly, she called him "my man Ingram" during one of her spots in the game. She seemed to be genuinely enjoying that post-game interview with him. Couldn't help but smile watching it.

Good times!

Those shows always seem to have some pretty nice camera work, lighting and plenty of battery power! I remember one that was on the Altamaha River in South GA where I grew up. He was camping in the river swamp, a couple of miles from a decent sized city and that riverswamp is pretty thin on both sides with very little "unspoiled" areas ... Poor thing probably had a 20 minute hike to the 7-11.

There was one shot I think I caught a glimpse of the railings at one of the overlooks. When he was looking for something to eat I wanted to suggest he stop and ask some of the folks swimming under the bridge at hwy 35 when he went past them. Speaking of that, how did they get all those hillbillies off the falls long enough to shoot that footage? I knew it was set up, but never knew how fake that show was until I saw that episode.

Does anyone know where I can find a link to the interview?

i particularly got a laugh about his simultaneous concern for "gators" and snakes in the swamps and becoming hypothermic. the contradictions in the show were insane.

For some reason, I thought that, though a lot of it is staged and he's got people there to help if something goes wrong and he sleeps in hotels--- Bear Grylles(sp?) does know what he's talking about and does actually execute the techniques we see. If that's true someone needs to reassure Rolando that the guy is really tough and smart and excellent in survivor tactics. I hate for him to be upset.
