Is it Really the Time to Consider Firing CKD???

It is not time yet, but if current trend lines continue, Bama will get crushed by Georgia, lose to USCe, Vandy (again), Tennessee (again), LSU, Oklahoma (again), and the Barn. If that happens, and Bama ends up 6-6 and players start to jump ship, presaging a worse disaster in 2026, it might well be time.

On the other hand, if the coaches right the ship, get this team playing Alabama football, and Alabama beats Tennessee, LSU and the Barn, then he will likely survive for another year.

That would be my guess.
So why crash out about it.

He hasn't even had 2 full seasons.

Every coach should be given 3 seasons. If you want to go downhill as a program, start firing coaches every years and see what happens.

I already knew that guy was a clown as soon as he started talking about Jon Gruden. Then he kept talking and I had to stop as soon as he started talking about LGBTQ being the issue
Baffles me that someone would even give this guy the time of day lol.

It's also one reason I was not in favor of this hire. This is a big swing type hire, a change in culture type of hire, a reinvent the wheel type scenario and given the situation I thought that was a unnecessary risk. I took a lot of heat for having Dabo higher on my list, and it's still hard to explain since he's not exactly doing an amazing job, but I thought and still thought if you just handed Dabo the talent Alabama currently has, and the resources Alabama has, he'd put them in the playoffs.
Sounds like someone needs to accept that Saban isn't coming back.

Bringing in someone to try and be 'Saban' would be a disaster.

I can't really speak to the rest of the stuff, but I did want to know what he was talking about so I watched a little bit of it.

He mentioned an "anxiety doll" for Ryan Williams and I was a bit curious about it. Ryan Williams did indeed walk into the stadium carrying some weird stuffed animal. I desperately hope it was given to him by a sick kid or something, but I saw it defended as "drip".

If a player actually brought a stuffed animal with him as part of his outfit I would have relished someone like Scott Cochran tearing it to shreds.
I'm no fan of Ryan Williams, but if he wants to carry a stuffed animal, Barbie doll, the skull of his enemies, or a live chicken into the stadium, what business is it of yours?

If the rest of the players carried their stuffed animals with them it would be more of a team and Ryan Williams wouldn't feel so special 🙄

Firing Deboer would do more damage to us than keeping him.

Don’t tell him there was a gay guy on the Packers in the 1960s and Vince Lombardi told everyone else to accept it or go play somewhere else.

If Deboer isnt the guy to motivate...time to bring in the alumni players, or even seal team members, green beret or any ex military that know what it means to be true team mates...to be reliant on your team to succeed and what that means to let them down....make players accountable..a total reset on mentality is needed. I've been a part of teams that do this and its powerful and motivating.

Where ever there's BBQ, Bourbon & Football
And?

Why does this bother you? You a grown ass man getting in your feelings because of this? C'mon man.
Because as a fan he has a right for it to bother him and you have the right for it not bother you. If the guy is going out there balling out I dont give two craps if he walks out in a too-too and high heels. But walk out in a too-too and high heals then go out there and play like your scared to death and im going to tell you to get your mind right and quit worrying about your "drip" and focus on playing the game.

You have to earn the right to do stupid stuff and not be called out for it. He's not there yet. He needs to leave the baby doll in his dorm and go play football like hes being paid to do.

This entire comment is shrouded in bias because you're insinuating that him walking out in high heels would be the cause of poor performances. What's to say an O-linemen showing up in a t-shirt and shorts wouldn't be the cause of poor performances. If they can't put the effort in to dress themselves, that might translate to the game.

None of it matters.

I've read a lot of articles about our loss over the past couple of days but this one I feel is the best:
I don’t think he’s ever going to get angry. It’s not in his nature. Even if he did, nobody would take him seriously.

Are you the official spokesperson for Ryan Williams?
No ,I've got nothing in common with Ryan Williams,he can speak for himself,,I think I've got the solution for this sorry play on the field, to get these clowns to play harder all you have to do is pay them more money,I'm sure they all feel like they're under paid.

... listen to AJ McCarron on the McCready & Siskey show. What he had to say about the team will change your mind about not wanting to clean house. The things he saw on the sidelines, on the field and other "notes" he took during the game will give you a HUGE DOSE of reality where this program is and how far the quality of football has fallen.
Siskey's constant ranting made that tough, but AJ's read was actually scary. I am way more concerned than when this discussion started....

Don't take this personally but here in lies the issue with most of this fanbase.

The constant speculation disguised as fact about what goes on in the minds of players and staff and what goes on behind closed doors.
