It is now time for us to put the USC game behind us
and start talking about Alabama's game againest Arkansas.

After the way that Arkansas has been playing these past
two weeks Alabama should not have a problem beating
them as long as we continue to play good sound football.

How does everybody feel about the Arkansas game right
now and how bad do you think that we will beat them and
why?

I like Coach Stallings' old adage about inferior opponents--"you may not think these games are a big deal, but try losing one and see what happens to ya."
Fortunately, I just simply do not see our coaches or our players for that matter taking this game lightly. After all, they have beaten us the last two years in a row...if nothing else, that should be incentive enough for our young men to give their best effort on saturday....btw, anyone heard what TV coverage the game is going to have?

Well, after seeing them get tatooed 70-17, and seeing what we did to the other USC, can you blame CBS for not wanting Arkansas on their network?

I'd expect one of two things: either we will see an Arkansas team playing harder than ever to make up for the past two weeks, or we will see a team that has given up.

Nutt's a pretty good motivator. I'd put my money on a fired-up Hog squad looking for blood.

That said, if Bama continues to prepare and execute in such a focused state as they displayed this past week, I see no reason why we can't come out of this game still undefeated.

Actually, early game plays in Bama's favor. Late west coast game for the hogs against USC will give them jet lag and early game will give them even less time to recover. I like it.

And tired. Fly to LA for a late game. Get their rears handed to them. Fly back to Arkansas. Practice. Fly to Alabama. Get up for an early game.

I think this is a revenge year, and everyone that beat us last year is going to see fire and brimstone. One reason we wont look over Arkansas is getting revenge for last years game.

This week showed me that Shula can gameplan. I don't think that Shula will let the players lose focus.

Arkansas had both QBs play well against USC, and they ran the ball effortlessly. They couldn't break a single big play, and that kept them out of the endzone.

The Hogs had to learn something trying to defend USC's offense. Our offense is very similar. I expect them to be ready. But it is our game to lose...
