Yeah. I have no live TV of any kind, saving myself a ton of money and time. If they don't care, why should I?So, now our "best" offseason get is gone. AA and the front office screwed this team in the offseason. We needed pitching last year, then knowing this team would make a real honest go at Fried, we were desperate for pitching. AA did nothing. He has mostly ignored pitching for years now. I'm ready for both Snit and AA to be gone.
Every fan base love to whine about the Dodgers and Yankees' payrolls. Well, we should be whining about our owners and why they refuse to invest like those owners do. Every star whose contract ends you know will leave the Braves because they "will never pay" for true stars. If I was in charge both Freeman and Fried would still be on the team. AA is praised for signing Acuna, Albies and Riley early, for relatively cheap. What happens when those contracts end, do we really believe these guys will still be a Brave? Of course not, because the team will not pay.
At least I'm on a 30 day free trial with the FanDuel app. This pathetic start made it easy to turn off auto renewal. I ain't paying $20 a month to watch this crap show.

Then We started winning and those same people giving me a hard time were suddenly Braves fans too. The people using that argument about 2021 don’t ever bother to mention a couple of important things:I'm so tired of people bring this up on Reddit.
I think how one views the Braves is determined, in part, by when their fandom began.became a Braves fan in 1985. I had just started playing little league. I got a lo of ridicule those first 6 years. Mine began in 1977, when we lost 101 games. I mean, in August 1980 when the Braves went on a hot streak to rise above .500 for the first time since April 1977 and for the first time in September since Hank Aaron was on the team, it was a big deal. It's funny we ended that year ONE GAME over .500 as one of our games with the Giants was rained out and since neither team was in the race, they weren't going to make it up. (In fact, it was Atlanta's final scheduled home game of the year on September 28; that said, we were 11-6 against the Giants that year, but we ended the year going 1-6, so a lot of "we might not have been above .500 if we played that game).
Braves in 1985 was rough because we'd been contenders for three years and the assumption was we would contend again. What killed us, though - and I don't know to what exact date you became a fan in 1985 - but the Braves were shut out four games in a row, 37 total innings, and the game we won to stop that streak was a 1-0 win over the Mets, where Len Barker won one of his whopping total of ten wins over 3 seasons for us to solidify how bad the Brett Butler trade really was.

And the run was on a fielding blunder you couldn’t coach.Sale pitching great through 5 but we have only given him 1 run in support. I don’t feel good.
Strike, ball... it doesn't matter. If the pitch was straight down the middle he'd probably still not swing.View attachment 50227
That’s a strike against the Braves
