Bamalaw,
I hate to tell you(don't want to make you feel insecure) but I'm also an artist, although I'm strictly an amateur. My favorite medium is oil pastel but I also paint with watercolors, dry pastels and oils.My style is 'impressionistic",similar to Monet,Degas, Manet, and,I've been told, with a little Van Gogh in some of my paintings.
As for being untruthful about my academic achievements,I assure you I earned a Masters degree at Un. of Alabama in microbiology, and my PhD in virology and biochemistry at at Auburn Un.I was at Auburn when Bama had four of their punts blocked.I've got to say,my fellow Auburn grad students kidded me about that game the whole time I was there.Oh,the title of my dissertation was,An Electron Microscope Study of Viral-Like Particles in Cases of Canine Lymphosarcoma.I worked on my dissertation when I wasn't flipping burgers.

LOL!!!!

What a sad little man you are that you feel the need to extol your virtues in a seperate thread. Did ums widdle feewings get hurt?? LOL With all that "extensive" education, one would think you could have answered a simple little question.

This explains it all - "I was at Auburn...." - BurgerFlipper (AKA JackDaniels). Got that barner insecurity well bred into you I see.

I love Impressionism, especially Monet. I have a Monet print - yes, of course - it's only a print. Also, an artist did pastels of my children when they were small, and one of my poodle, from a photo, after he died, and also one of Chopin, from an album cover.

Monet is very good (I have two of his prints) but personally I prefer Degas, Cézanne and the American impressionist William Merritt Chase.

The Renaissance Man -vs- Law Dawg! And here, I thought you two were such sweeties! This should be interesting!

Why do you find it necessary to tear down everyone who disagrees with you?

Actually the quote is: "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" (Hamlet)

I don't. I find it humorous that you and others are so insecure that you feel the need to either start new threads extolling your own virtues, or you simply jump into the fray to criticize others when you were not a part of the original conversation. Sad.

I am quite familiar with Hamlet thank you. It’s perfectly fine to use a popular quotation and change it up, as most people do with that quote. I was avoiding heaping further humiliation on JD by not refering to him as the "lady" he's been acting like.

That's funny because you insert yourself into many threads that you were not originally a party to and then criticize others when they do the same.

You also extoll your "Christian" virtues and beliefs yet continually lash out at anyone who has a different opinion than yours.

Take this as a fair warning that any more personal insults toward other posters regardless of who it is will get a minimum 30 day "time out" which can be easily extended into permanency.

We expect this recent crapola to stop.

Thanks.
