Yeah, you can't talk about that game without talking about those two plays. But we have no idea what Jalen could have done against that defense. We certainly have no reason to think he would have led the team to more than 28 points.Still enough to win without throwing pick 6s.

Probably not - No way you beat LSU with Jalen (he tried that with OU's offense and only scored 28 points) and Auburn has figured out how to stop him. More importantly, Auburn has the defensive personnel to stop him.
Jalen is a very limited QB. Love him and respect him, but that doesn't change the reality.
They scored more than 28 on Alabama in November. To be fair, OU's Defense is not nearly as good as ours...
Taysom Hill is a great comparison...that went undrafted...After 4 years at Bama and OU this probably the most important week of his football life to this point.
Anyone want to guess as to where he would be a good fit?
Does someone draft him as Taysom Hill 2.0?
I guess I'll be the sole dissenter but I'm not a fan of this. JH chose OU, so he should wear OU.
Aye, that's not changed - I just feel he needs to pick on or the other. He chose to go to OU, wear OU. It's not a slap in the face of Bama, but this seems a bit too contrived for me.I'm kind of surprised you feel this way. You've said in the past more than once that Jalen is your #1 Favorite Alabama player of all time and that's he such a good role model that any parent would be thrilled to have a child turn out like him.
Jalen is limited, yes (still wonder how much missing his redshirt season and being thrown to the wolves influenced that), but he's still very capable. I don't think you can look at a guy who threw for 3,800 yards and 32 TDs and dismiss him entirely. Furthermore, he's gone from never gonna play in the NFL to projected to go in the first half of the draft. So he has his flaws, but the upside is there to.Probably not - No way you beat LSU with Jalen (he tried that with OU's offense and only scored 28 points) and Auburn has figured out how to stop him. Me thinks this is MORE about the charity auction than anything else. Sooner and Tide faithful bidding against each other will probably garner the most money in the bidding, just saying that some things have more meaning than personal loyalty !Aye, that's not changed - I just feel he needs to pick on or the other. Besides, Bama sharing a helmet with that paperclip logo is nasty.![]()
Apparently Jalen will not wear that helmet during the game:
