I believe Arenas is now a Cornerback - doesn't he stand about 5'8" or 5'9"; hope his leaping ability is very good to cover some of the taller receivers. I do belive he is going to be an impact player.

Last I heard Arenas is a safety.

Jess has him listed as the second team FS on the depth chart posted here on Tide Fans.

CNS wanted some more speed and a sure tackler at safety.....Arenas is both.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shorter DB's are in vogue right now in the NFL. Many starting CB's are 5-10 and probably a few 5-9. 5-8 and below would probably be pushing it. Quickness against all these imaginative routes is a must.
