JeffCo Headed for Bankruptcy

380 cops in B'ham? Man, there would be rioting and murders every night.

Bridegeport had the highest murder rate per capita in the country at the time and statistcally was the most violent city in America.....sound familiar? And it was smack in the middle of one of the richest counties in America, fairfield county, surrounded by such 'rich' towns as Westport, New Canaan, and Greenwich .

According to inside sources, these guys make up Langford's "5" so I'm sure he's got a plan.

Where's he been lately?

I keep waiting to see LL's face pop up in the montage towards the end.

As a continuation of this ongoing saga, it's now been revealed that Jefferson County has absolutely no standing debt management policy.

Jefferson County Commission President Bettye Fine Collins said
"We haven't established a thorough policy, to my knowledge," Collins said. "We are working on a lot of things right now, and that should be one of them."
Ya think?

It's no wonder the county is on the verge of bankruptcy. There is no one in the entire county administration who has any idea of how to handle their massive bond debt. I see no reason now for the state to not step in and take over. :rolleye2:
