Had he made the argument that USC or Texas was clearly better, I could see the gripe. In Miami, he picked a team that has a defense equal to our own, but with a much more effective offense.

Just as LSU must be kicking themselves for losing focus for one quarter, Miami must really regret their weak start against FSU. They have looked awesome since.

IMO, the "analysts" all want to be able to say "I told you so" when Bama loses. They see our losing as a foregone conclusion, given our next three games.

That having been said, Bama controls their own destiny. Win out with victories over LSU, AU, & GA and few will doubt our credentials. Bama will either make them all eat crow, or be forced to admit that they were right all along...

Obviously, there are still people in the media and elsewhere that award style points. The philosophy that some use to say "Miami and Penn St are better than Alabama" doesn't make sense at all to me. Are they forgetting that Miami lost to FSU who lost to UNC and UVA, who are not exactly powerhouses this year. Also, Penn State lost to Michigan which has lost 3 games of it's own. I'm not saying that Miami and Penn St aren't any good. They are very good teams. But, the fact still remains that they have lost games that they shouldn't have and Alabama has won every game on it's schedule to this point. If I remember right, a "W" is a "W" and has no other description. There is no such thing as an ugly win. But there is such a thing as an ugly loss. If these so called experts in the media want to scrutinize schedules, then they need to do that to the other undefeated teams as well. Some of their "W's" could be called "ugly" too if there were such a thing as an ugly win. But, IMO, the national media has had it in for CMS since he was named head coach. How "ugly" will the W's be if on November 20th there are no L's for them to talk about? We'll just have to wait and see.
Roll Tide. All the way.
