Thank you for your words about Charlie. For everyone in the dark..I am Charlie's older sister...much much shorter but older lol. I thought I was the only one with that opinion and that it probaly stemmed from my being a little partial. I still don't understand Huddleston though..not to knock him..but he only played 2 or 3 games and had a passed ball..correct?

If I was in charge of the All-Tournament Team Beau, Pak..at SS, Ricey, Nate, Zac, All our pitchers, etc...would have made it...They were all deserving!!RTR!!!

Agreed BamaSis. Your All Tourney Team is much better. I was kinda happy none of our pitchers got it because they all deserved it.
How did you meet JoJo without meeting me? I was with him alot of the tourney.
By the way, I coached Charlie on 208 a couple of years ago. I called him up from Jr. Post to play with us. I knew great things were ahead for him. What a team that was! Jared Woodward, Charlie Lyons, Spencer Pennington, Coley Blakeney, and Bo Hannah. And those were just the Bama players!

well charlie played well defensively but did go 3-17 in the tourney at the plate, huddleston didnt do much better 4-14 i think it was. I wouldnt have taken huddleston either, but i guess with him being a senior had something to do with it. I thought the tournament team was accurate with the exception of pavkovich at SS instead of hill. and huddleston of course

Aaron Hill got SEC POY, so name recognition got him there. Pac had 3 errors, just enough to keep him out of the ss position.

BamaSis, once again, it was nice to meet you and your family. Have a safe trip to College Station if you are headed out that way. Huddleston did have a passed ball and he also launched an errant throw down the left field line that ended up costing them a run or two in the 13-3 blowout. Since none of the catchers in the tournament put up exactly stunning numbers at the plate, I'll still take Charlie over the rest.

38, I need to bring by that Midland RockHounds sticker to grace the door of your business establishment sometime.

my fault bamasis, i wasn't trying to imply anything i just took a look at all the numbers. I would not have taken huddleston but no catcher really excelled at the plate, which is usually all that matters when it comes to selecting teams like that.
