IIRC, one was a racist comment and one was an insult regarding Goodell's sexual orientation.

I honestly think his biggest 'sin' was calling out Roger Goodell, who - by all accounts - has very thin skin.

He probably would have survived everything else with a simple mea culpa.

I suspect the reason Gruden's now interested in CFB now is that as long as Goodell is commissioner he won't be allowed back in the league.

And as a Bucs fan I post all of this with little regard for Gruden. He ran the Bucs into the ground after riding Dungy's coattails.
