Maybe Clemson and Auburn should just swap head coaches. I don't think anyone here would object...

Fact is, Barnies are SO AUbsessive over the last game, they wouldn't want a coach that Saban has punished, even if it was only ONE time. That's the only reason they won't go after Tommy Bowden.

When the media asks Coach Saban about this (you know they will), I wouldn't be at all surprised for him to simply say, "No comment." After the much-ballyhooed "I will not be the Alabama coach," remarks before he came here, I wouldn't expect him to make a statement like that again with regards to any other school, simply to avoid the inevitable media jibes that would follow. He might fool me and do it anyway, and I for one hope that he does, but I really couldn't blame him if he simply chose to sidestep the situation. Anyone with half a brain knows he isn't going anywhere, but expect the media to manufacture a story out of nothing if they can.
